Answer = 7.5 x 10-4 g <--- note negative exponent from 106 being in the denominator

Problem #2: Convert 0.25 Mm to cm:

0.25 Mm x (_____ cm / 1 Mm) = _____ cm <--- a "1" in front of the larger unit

Note that there is no 1 in front of the L. This is often done, where the 1 is understood to be there. Note the manner of the answer; it is done that way to show three significant figures.

Problem #10: Convert 35.28 mL to L

35.28 mL x (1 L / 1000 mL) = 0.03528 L

Note that, when the 1 is in the numerator, it is usually written.
